Whether you’re an old pro or just trying blackjack for the first time, one of the most popular games in the city is sure to bring you all the excitement you’re searching for. That being said, just a few blackjack tips can go a long way when it comes to winning big. Pay close attention, and you could increase your odds and learn more about how to win at blackjack.

Anytime money is on the line, and things can get a bit stressful. It’s important to remember, above all else, that’s it’s impossible to win all the time. Casinos hire professionals to work the tables. You should sit down knowing that the odds are likely already in the dealer’s favor. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t win. Follow the tips below to increase your chances of a win.

First, know the limits. Make sure you’re in a standard blackjack game and understand the minimum and maximum you can bet each hand. Also, keep in mind what first two cards you can double down on, as well as the first two cards you can split and how often you can do so. Second, go ahead and find a friendly dealer. You’re going to have a lot more fun playing with someone who’s enjoying themselves. Third, don’t drink too much. It can be hard to focus, and you might lose track of what you’re doing. Additionally, if you drink too much, you may start to make decisions that can cost you.

As for the more specific blackjack tips, we suggest you always hit a soft 17, double down on 11, split aces and 8s, and stand on a hard 17 or above. Don’t split 5s or 10’s and never stand on 12 through 16 if the dealer has a 7 or higher.

Follow these blackjack tricks, and you just may be walking out of the casino with a lot more money than you started with!
